We take a lot pride in having a chill and open environment, but also have an emphasis on keeping surroundings respectful and clean for each other. My partner and i work from home in the back office. Guests are not uncommon in our house. We like to keep an open dialogue about our needs (noise, cleanliness, chores). We have a roomie group chat but also approach each other.The available room is on the main floor near the entrance, with a bathroom in the basement which will mostly be yours. Both bathrooms in the house are not off limits to guests or other roommates (guests may be crashing or roommates may be hanging in the basement).We have two fridges, a bbq, and lots of shared cookware. We cook a lot and consume meat regularly, so this might not be ideal if youre sensitive about cooking smells!
